With Halloween approaching, I spent the other night practising my friend's face paint for the big night.
Here is what I did:
I just used white face paint, black eye shadow and a fine liquid eyeliner.
It led to me searching to find more inspiration for Halloween. And here are my findings.
This is one of my favourites.
Simple black face paint for the most part. You don't really even need to do the red shading around the Adam's Apple.
And then the teeth and lips once drawn its a matter of just shading.
To get the "scaled" effect, first do a base colour- here the pale one. Then put fishnet tights over your face, and shade in the gaps using different colours, the rest is a matter of shading the colours to match the look that you were going for.
Glow in the dark paint. Simple.
This was part of the stimulus for the facepaint I did for Charlotte.
Buy a zip, use face glow and stick this on. Then painting the rest with wet look facepaint.
Hilarious. I love this. I don't know if anybody could put up with having these sticky things all over your face all night. However, if you could... it would be wonderful.
What are you doing for Halloween?

ReplyDeleteThanks Nelani! It was quite simple, and has a nice dramatic "halloween-y" effect. Would love to know what you do for Halloween!
