Bumble and Bumble Mending Masque

So I have had ,my eye on the Bumble and Bumble mending hair masque for a while now.

Seeing it at Boots yesterday (£30.00) I decided that I was going to justify a spend on this new (agreeably indulgent) product. My hair has got reasonably long now, and with blonde highlights I find that going swimming regularly takes its toll on my luscious locks. So, yes, I had decided I was going to make this purchase...

And then came the interference, my boyfriend pretty much refused to standby and watch me pay £30.00 for a hair mask.

But I really need it
It's only the branding you're paying for...
(To be fair I should be fully aware of this as a Marketing student)

So, in the end, I didn't buy any form of mending hair masque... I would like to know, has anyone tried this product? Is it justifiable? I definitely don't mind going back and making that purchase- but I just wondered if anyone has used it?

Let me know in the comments below :)

Liebster Award

Hi everyone, So I'd like to start by thanking the lovely Sneha from www.snehakadaba.com for my nomination. The idea is that I have to answer the questions that she has given me, and then I must nominate a further 10 bloggers... So I will list my questions and nominations at the bottom.

My nominations
You will find your questions at the bottom of this page! But first, here are mine that Sneha gave me, along with my answers.

What is your favorite thing about blogging, and what do you find most challenging?

I love writing, so I probably enjoy that more than anything else as I haven't done it in a long time. I find it tricky to find the time to write though!

Where would you like to be in 10 years time?

Anywhere, as long as I'm happy.

Top 5 cities in the world that you would like to visit

Paris Hong Kong Rio de Janeiro Stockholm Laos

What dish do you think you can cook/bake better than anyone else?

I have a few favourites at the minute. However, I have my very own recipe for gooey nutella brownies that I think I am probably the best at- since I made the recipe myself :)

If you could buy one designer item and money was no object, what would it be and why?

A yacht, because it would be simply incredible.

What mobile phone are you currently using, and what do you think of it?

I'm currently using a Samsung S5. I really like the size of the screen, however I don't think the front camera is very good, and I don't really rate the screen resolution. However, the health features on it are good fun and it seems to be nice and robust- which is good for me!

What feature do you really like about yourself? (it can be a physical feature or a quality/trait)

I like the fact that I am chatty- it means that I feel comfortable to speak to anybody :)

One book that you would read a thousand times over without ever being bored.

A book that I would read a thousand times... hmm, probably one of the Dragon Tattoo Series books, Stieg Larsson

At what time of the day do you feel the most productive?

Not sure, it depends on what time I wake up- if I have a really early start then

Do you have any irrational fears?

I have an unbelievable fear of being tickled. I do not think I will ever be able to face my fears. EVER.

The one thing that cheers you up if you’ve had a lousy day.

My dressing gown :)

And my questions for you ladies are...

  1. What is your cosiest item of clothing?
  2. What was the most interesting thing you did today?
  3. Who is the most influential person in your life so far?
  4. Name one ambition that you are currently working towards
  5. What was the name of your favourite toy as a child, and who was he/she?
  6. What do you want for Christmas?
  7. Describe your favourite item of jewellery
  8. What was the most embarrassing thing you have ever seen happen to somebody?
  9. What is your ultimate pet hate?
  10. What is your karaoke song?
Enjoy!

Everyone starts somewhere

Did you know butterflies taste with their feet?
No?
Well, that's just one of the several useless, yet (what I consider to be) interesting facts that fills the gap between my ears.

My name is Jessie.
I am a Marketing Management student living in the beautiful city of Edinburgh.

I love really bad jokes; get extremely grumpy when I'm either tired or hungry and I love singing really loudly when I'm in the car on my own. I hate waking up in the mornings, and have about five alarms that I consistently snooze until the last minute every single day. I love travelling and I can’t wait to finish my studies and get on another plane. I like to think I am a bit creative; when I have the time/can be bothered I make cards for birthdays and Christmas. Oh and last Christmas my handwriting was printed with the Vogue Christmas magazine, which sounds a hell of a lot more exciting than it was.

I’m still a really big kid. I believe in magic (albeit in the form of an early finish on a Friday or that good ol’ thing “True Love”). Not to mention the fact that I’m ridiculously ticklish- like seriously it’s almost a disadvantage.

I find swimming in the sea exhilarating and good for the soul. I am pretty similar to the majority of students who spend longer writing “To-Do” lists than actually doing the items on the list. For that reason I am sure this blog will get a lot of my attention thanks to my wonderful ability to procrastinate.

Oh... and I’m a wee bit of a drama queen.

I suppose I should give you some insight to what I intend to share with you on this blog; but the thing is, I’m not too sure- it’s kind of going to be a bit of everything. Hence the word “Jargon” featuring in my blog name. Nonetheless I will try my best to ensure that the posts I write will be interesting to read- hence my choice of the word “Juicy”.
